Program Introduction
In order to achieve the goal of internationalization of higher education in 2024, the College has launched the " Interdisciplinary Talents Jumpstart Program X National Taiwan Normal University". The program aims to foster new and interdisciplinary talents, combining courses in the "cross-cultural communication, cultural economics, creative marketing, aesthetic cultural creation, and information technology. With an international perspective, the College leads students to the world, which can help and exert greater influence on future academic and professional paths. Welcome to Taiwan and choose Taiwan Normal University, all this experience will be a wonderful learning journey.

Students aged 18 -30 years old who are interested in Mandarin and Chinese culture.
Introduction

We emphasize learners' Chinese learning needs and combine the teaching content with real life, so that students can learn from "easy learning" to "open mouth and speak."
Cross Domain in Learning with Creativity
The University of Taiwan has hired experts and scholars from all fields to provide students with professionals specialized in backgrounds like “culture communication”, “culture economy”, “creative marketing”, “aesthetic creativity”, and “technology information” with a combination of trends and current situations.
Deep experience of local culture
Students can live in the NTNU campus hostel, enjoy a comfortable and convenient learning environment while experiencing Taiwan's culture and urban atmosphere. It is located in the core area of the country, close to the Presidential Palace, the National Library, the National Theater, the National Concert Hall. It is closed to Taipei MRT station with two lines crossed, high speed rail and train services.

Explore Taiwanese pop culture, combining social, travel, communication, technology, and other fields for in-depth discussions on Mandarin language topics. |

Note: Participants in the 6-week course will attend basic Mandarin classes. Those enrolled in the 12-week course will have basic Mandarin classes along with advanced Mandarin sessions. Classes will be held 2-3 times per week, with each session lasting 2 or 3 hours. |

Inspire participants to discuss science and technology, exploring topics such as artificial intelligence, energy, transportation, innovation, global challenges, human behavior, engineering, medical advancements, and controversial issues. |

Notes: Schedule related special lectures in the five major areas, with classes held 2 to 3 times per week, each session lasting 2 to 3 hours. |

Field Trip |
Participants can explore Taiwan in their free time, discovering historical landmarks, traditional ceremonies, natural ecosystems, hidden tribal areas, and cultural attractions. By engaging in immersive travel experiences, they can appreciate the local charm and uniqueness of both urban and rural areas. |
